Overview
This Antique Spanish Navaja features an engraved blade on both sides, file worked thumb rest. Blade has some patina and some scratches. The handle has carved silver bolsters and butt with filework, buffalo horn scales with engraved silver inlays and silver pins, has a pick-lock closure on the spine.
The handle has a circular pearl inlay on one side, and a Bavarian Kreuzer from either 1849 or 1840 (can't see the other side). The inscription on the blade is dated 1877. Comes in a very old cloth/leather sheath. There is rust, patina, scuffs and scratches. Good overall condition for its age.
