For those shorter adventures, we built the Dakota Waxed Canvas Weekender, a scaled-down companion to our oversized model. It carries the same World War II–inspired toughness and Badlands grit as its larger counterpart—just in a size that’s perfect for traveling light.
It’s crafted with a rugged 15oz wax-coated canvas that stands up to weather and wear, paired with top grain vegetable-tanned leather trim that only gets better with age. Copper rivets, black vintage metal hardware, and a full leather bottom add strength where it matters most. Thick all-leather carry handles and an adjustable, padded, removable leather strap keep it comfortable in hand or over the shoulder. Side buckle adjustments let you expand for a little extra room or cinch it down when you’re packing light, while two exterior zippered pockets with stout YKK metal zippers keep your quick-grab essentials secure.
