Used but mint condition Ventura V-Matic EGO automatic wristwatch which is an officially certified Swiss chronometer. When new the watch was new in circa 2010 retailed for £1400. The watch is a clean, crisp and stunning contemporary design, minimalist styling with clean slick lines, and focuses purely on design and built quality. It is designed by the famous Swiss designer Hannes Wettstein. It has a Bauhaus design appearance, visually striking and a build quality that matches the sleek aesthetic look. The case is made of Titanox which is a version of titanium. It is superior to regular titanium whereby the metal is nitrogen hardened to 1,300 HV, which is equivalent to the hardness of sapphire which renders the titanium virtually scratch proof. The case back is snap on as the tough titanium does not lend itself to screw type fixtures. The back is pressed on with more than 80Kg of weight in a clean fitting design to allow 3 bar of water resistance. The dial is crisp and clean black with white skeleton hands and white markers. Date at the 6 position. It has got a sapphire crystal to the front and back displaying the movement. The movement is a superior ETA 2892-A2, automatic 25 jewel Swiss made movement.
