Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This kiridashi features a differentially heat treated and etched blade with hamon line. Hidden tang construction with 1/8" blade stock and 7/8" blade depth. The handle is cobra skin under tan linen wrap with a wooden core. File-work on blade spine and exposed tang. New from maker. Blade Steel: 1084

About the Maker

Jensen, Eli

I'm pretty new to the knife making scene; I made my first knife in 2010. I've learned through trial and error, and am constantly challenging myself. Many of my materials and designs have historical inspirations. I cast my own alloys such as bronze and shibuichi to use for fittings. I use carbon steel in my knives, primarily 1084, because there are so many things you can do with carbon steel that you cannot do with stainless. I claim sole authorship of my work, from designing the blade and doing my own heat treatment, to sewing up the leather sheath.
