Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

The Subrosa is a collaboration project between Ken Steigerwalt and Matt Lerch. They have patent pending status on this mechanism. They sold the manufacturing rights to Benchmade, who produces factory versions utilizing this mechanism.

The key elements that make this assisted mechanism a cut above are the two titanium leaf springs connected together with a hardened roller that engages on the blade. Because the roller follows the blade during the opening and closing motion, there is little to no wear to the components. 

Satin finished S30V stainless steel drop point blade with single thumb stud. Stonewashed and milled titanium frame with titanium barrel-type spacers, and satin finished stainless steel tip down clip. Very light and typical scuffs on stonwashed titanium frame, blade is mint. Very responsive action. Comes with original box and drawstring pouch. Blade Steel: Satin Finished S30V
