Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

This High Clip Hunter from Jay Hendrickson features a satin finish clip point blade with swedge. The handle is comprised of fileworked nickel silver guard and stag bolsters and pommel with wood scales featuring silver wire inlay over full tapered tang construction. Includes leather sheath with nickel silver shield and belt loop. Minor tarnish spots and sheath marks on blade, but otherwise great condition.

About the Maker

Hendrickson, Jay

Jay started making knives in 1974, while working at IBM. Jay became a full time knifemaker in 1987 and received his Master’s Certification in 1989. Jay was one of the ABS members instrumental in the planning and formulation of the W. F. Moran School of Bladesmithing in Washington, Arkansas and the Bladesmith Museum in Little Rock, Arkansas. He has been teaching the basic bladesmithing course at the school since its beginning. Prior to this, Jay taught ABS classes at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY for five years. Jay makes all styles of straight knives. He makes his own Damascus, does all of the handle treatments, and creates and hand sews his own sheaths.
