Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This Model #2 Semi-Skinner by Wayne Hendrix features a mirror polished blade, .185" blade stock and .858" blade depth, full tapered tang construction. The handle has a mirror polished stainless steel guard and pins, cocobolo scales with black liners/spacers. Well contoured handle. Excellent fit and finish. Marked "SC 1 of 50" on tang and dated 2013. Comes with brown leather sheath and nylon zippered case. 2014 Sporting Classics' Knife of the year. Excellent condition.

About the Maker

Hendrix, Wayne

Wayne sold his first knife in 1985. "I am a one-man shop and make a limited number of knives per year. I use ATS 34 (154 cm) which is professionally heat treated to a Rockwell C Hardness of 58-60. Handle materials, such as stag, desert iron wood, African blackwood and curly/birdseye maple, when stained with chromic acid, are some of the better natural handle materials. All knives come with sheaths made from 9-10 oz. vegetable tanned leather. I make all sheaths and then wet form them to each knife. After the sheath is dry, it is dipped in oil and harness dressing to protect it from moisture and to help maintain its fit to the knife."
