Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This knife is named Avalon and is dedicated to the film of the same name, this beautiful knife was crafted by Daniil Izotow. It features a hand rub satin finished blade with notched thumbrest, .148" blade stock and 1.017" blade depth, hidden tang construction. The handle has an antiqued sterling silver guard and butt that have an incredible steam punk theme and a carved blackwood (grenadil) grip. Amazing attention to detail. Comes with an equally impressive black leather sheath with nickel silver coils that adorn the front of the sheath. This is a very cool piece, the metal parts of the handle are made through a combination of 3D modeling / milling of plastic parts / assembly of parts from different parts (as a designer) / removal of the silicone mold / casting of wax models / vacuum casting with silver. The rest of the knife is done completely by hand.

"For many years I have been working on traditional Japanese edged weapon, specifically grinding and polishing blades and making rim of swords. I use traditional materials and their modern modified analogues. Forging and heat treatment of blades are done by my friend Dmitry, he is a professional blacksmith and gunsmith with experience over 10 years. Since 2016, I began making art knives, in the styles: cyberpunk / bio-mechanics, using some of the best materials and precious metals. I try to do all the work in the highest quality, studying new technologies and do various experiments with design."
