Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This Two-Blade Tear Drop Jack by John Howser features hand rubbed satin finish blades with nail nicks. The handle has stainless steel liners with satin finish integral double bolsters, stag covers, stainless steel escutcheon. Half stops on blades. Great work. Has some light scratches, otherwise excellent condition.

About the Maker

Howser, John

Mr. Howser sold his first knife in 1974. His specialties are slipjoint folders of older patterned multi-blades; lockbacks; hunters; and, fillet knives. Blade choices are ATS-34 and will use D-2 and 440V with a hand rubbed satin finish. John Cronan Howser, 70, passed away peacefully with his three daughters at his side on November 15, 2013. Throughout his life John excelled as a custom knifemaker, winning best in show awards for his folding knives. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, The National Rifle Association, American Legion and The Knifemakers Guild.
