Overview
This "Draconus" Dragon Bowie by Daniel Winkler features a "Dragon Skin" Pattern Damascus (0-1 and SA203E) blade with fileworked Dragon spine, has an etched flame edge, .223" blade stock and 1.477" blade depth, hidden tang construction. The handle has a forged and split Iron guard with four twisted dragon claw quillions on each side. The grip is made from Sambar stag for the net and head, and white tail deer stag for the wings and body. The handle has been immaculately carved with "Draconus" with Ant Hill Garnet eyes and fossil walrus ivory horns, carved by Paul G Grussenmeyer. This knife was handmade by Daniel Winkler on a design of Dr. Paul Grussenmeyer who did the carving on the handle and built the stand. Comes with a cedar driftwood stand with a dragon's nest and a mule deer antler title plaque that reads "DRACONUS" by Paul Grussenmeyer & Daniel Winkler 1993. Comes with a COA and a hand written letter from Daniel Winkler dated 5-12-93. (the COA states that it comes with 3 malachite eggs, these no longer accompany the knife)
