Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This Drop Point Hunter by Steve Johnson features a mirror polished blade with .191" blade stock and .939" blade depth, full tapered tang construction. The handle has engraved stainless steel bolsters with gold inlays, stag scales with red liners and engraved stainless steel pins, lanyard hole at the butt. The engraving was beautifully done, the work is signed with an M with a circle around it, it could also be a W. Includes a signed brown leather sheath and a zippered case. Excellent condition. Has "Year 2001" on the tang.

"I completed my first knife, which I still have, in March of 1966. I was lucky enough to have Gil Hibben as my Boy Scout Explorer Advisor and he gave each scout the opportunity to make a knife. For me, the "project" evolved into part-time and then full-time work. Later, I had the opportunity to work with Harvey Draper, Rod Chappel, Buster Warenski, A.G. Russell, and Bob Loveless. I continue to make using knives that feature well-defined grind lines, precise fit and highly polished blades of, for the most part, 154-CM/ATS-34 type steel. I enjoy the people and places associated with knifemaking and the personal challenge of making each knife as flawless as I can make it."
