Overview
This Broad Sword by Paul Myers features a two-tone double edged blade with mirror polished grinds and hand rub satin finished flats, .370" blade stock and 2.425" blade depth, hidden tang construction. The handle has an engraved nickel silver guard, collar and butt with a walnut grip (I think its walnut, could certainly be some other dark wood). The nickel silver fittings have been high relief engraved by Gary Blanchard, mostly overlapping leaf engraving with fileworked edges. The collar has an engraved castle with "Blanchard" engraved into the scroll. The butt has the same leaf engraving, but the bottom of the butt has a Knights helmet engraved with the castle in the background. The knife is #84 and is stamped on the ricasso. Has some light scratches, has some patina/spotting on the blade and polished parts of the guard, otherwise excellent condition. Comes with a padded rifle case.
