Garretson, Shaun
My full name is Shaun Garretson and currently live in the Youngstown-Warren, OH area. I'm currently a full-time maker but I've worked or been involved in the Emergency Services dating back to the age of 13 (That's almost 30 years now). I started at a Volunteer Ambulance Co, went on to a EMT / Fireman. I was active in a local Search Rescue & Recovery organization while becoming a Police Officer / Deputy Sheriff for the past 22 years. I was also a member of our Dive Team on the Sheriffs Department. I accredit all of my experience along with reaching out to friends and current LE/Firefighters/Military to the designing and production of my knives. I've been very fortunate to have some of the best people in the knife-making business teach me the fine art of creating something from just a chunk of steel and turn it into something that customers will spend their hard earned money on. I couldn't have gotten this far by not thanking people such as Mickey Yurco, Lance Abernathy, Sam Jones just to name a few! I look forward to meeting each and everyone of you!!
