Overview

Phil made this impressive lockback sometime between 1984 and 1988 and it is in absolute mint condition - as if it just came out of Phil's shop. The stainless steel frame has a brushed finish and the scales are pre-ban elephant ivory. The forward positioned lockbar is close filed to help avoid thumb slippage when the blade is open, and even with firm pressure on the lockbar the blade does not drop on its own. Closed, the blade seats perfectly in the trough. This is a great little lockback, fileworked blade and backbar. Perfect. Blade Steel: 440C Hand Rubbed Satin Finish w/Fileworked Spine
